About Tecoaque
Tecoaque is a Mesoamerican archaeological site, located in western Tlaxcala state, central Mexico. The site was inhabited by the Acolhuas, allies of the Texcocan. In Nahuatl, "Tecoaque" means "the place where they ate them;” it replaced the earlier name of Zultepec.
