About Te Kauwhata
Te Kauwhata is a small town in the north of the Waikato region of New Zealand, situated close to the western shore of Lake Waikare, some 40 km north of Hamilton. Te Kauwhata had a population of 1,473 at the 2013 New Zealand census, an increase of 279 people since the 2006 census. There were 672 males and 801 females.
