About Taita Apalis
The Taita apalis is a bird in the family Cisticolidae that is endemic to the Taita Hills in Kenya. It was formerly considered to be a subspecies of the bar-throated apalis. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forest. It is threatened by habitat loss. It is one of the rarest birds in the world.
