About Tafí Del Valle
Tafí del Valle is a town in the Calchaquí Valleys area of northwest Argentina. It's surrounded by high, trail-lined mountains like Matadero, Muñoz and Pabellón. In town, the 18th-century Jesuit La Banda Chapel houses a museum with religious art and cultural relics. Tafí River flows south, into huge La Angostura Dam. Nearby, Los Menhires archaeological reserve has ancient stone statues with carved designs.
