About Sweetwater Dam
The Sweetwater Dam is a dam across the Sweetwater River in San Diego County, California. It is located approximately 12 miles east of San Diego, 9 miles and borders Bonita to the southwest and La Presa to the northeast. The 108-foot-high masonry arch dam impounds 960-acre Sweetwater Reservoir.
