About Suwa
Suwa is a city on Japan's Honshu Island. It sits on the shore of Lake Suwa, known for summer fireworks and winter carp fishing. The ancient Suwa Taisha Shrine comprises 4 temples surrounded by trees. A geyser erupts regularly at the Suwa Lake Geyser Center, which also includes several hot springs. The 16th-century Takashima Castle is surrounded by cherry trees.
