Surindar Kumar Trehan was an Indian mathematician who specialised in non-linear stability in magnetohydrodynamics. He was awarded in 1976 the Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize for Science and Technology, the highest science award in India, in the mathematical sciences category.
