Stephen Halliwell Life story
Francis Stephen Halliwell, FBA, FRSE, known as Stephen Halliwell, is a British classicist and academic. From 1995 he was Professor of Greek at the University of St Andrews and Wardlaw Professor of Classics from 2014. Prior to that he taught at the universities of Oxford, London, Cambridge, and Birmingham.
