About Spencer Spit State Park
Spencer Spit State Park is a public recreation area covering two hundred acres on the east side of Lopez Island in San Juan County, Washington. The state park features two sand spits that join to form a briny marsh lagoon that provides a migratory stop for waterfowl, including Bonaparte's gulls.
