About Sonia Markham
Sonia Markham (3 July 1938-March 2016) was make-up artist of Doctor Who from The Sensorites to The Smugglers. She was the sister of Petra Markham. After her time as a make-up artist for the BBC, Markham switched paths to women's rights and health issues, and later still trained as a psychotherapist.
