Sona Valikhan Life story
Sona Valikhan, was an Azerbaijani Soviet ophthalmologist, doctor of medical sciences, professor, Honored Scientist of Azerbaijan SSR, and the first Azerbaijani woman to receive a medical degree. She played an important role in the development of Azerbaijani ophthalmology.
