Sir Simon Musgrave Life story
Sir Simon (Symon) Musgrave was the third son of Edward Musgrave of Hartley (Harcla), Westmorland, and Edenhall, Cumberland. He was granted the office of constable of Bewcastle in 1555, an office he continued to hold for life.
