Biography. Sylvester (De Rattray) De Rattray Xth of Rattray is a member of Clan Rattray. Sylvester was the son of Patrick Rattray, 9th of Rattray and a daughter of John Stewart. In 1463 Amb to negotiate peace with England. In 1482 sat in Parl as a feudal baron and on the assize that acquitted Lord Lyle of treason.
