Sir Robert Goushill Life story
Sir Robet Goushill was knighted by King Henry IV at the battle of Shrewsbury on July 21,1403. Robert Goushill was the son and heir of Sir Nicholas Goushill of Hoveringham. Robert Goushill would marry the widowed Elizabeth Fitz-Alan, Duchess of Norfolk, in the latter part of 1400 or early 1401 without license.
