Sir Jacob Wheate, 5th Bt. Life story
Jacob Wheate was the second son of Sir George Wheate and Avice Acworth. He was born on 20 September 1744 in Holborn, London. Jacob Wheate inherited the title of Baronet from his brother when he died in 1759. He was 15 years old and became the 5th Baronet of Glympton.
