Sir Edward William Blackett, 7th Bt. Life story
7th Baronet. He was the son of Sir Edward Blackett, 6th Baronet, and his first wife, Julia Monck. He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England. He fought in the Crimean War between 1854 and 1855, and was seriously wounded at the Redan. He was decorated with the award of the Knight, Legion de Honneur.
