Sir Edward Bathurst, 1st Baronet Life story
Sir Edward Bathurst was a royalist and sequestered the Lechlade estate for a sum of 720 pounds and for this demonstration of loyalty he was knighted by King Charles I and created a Baronet by him the same year. Marriage and Issue. Anne, daughter of Thomas Morris, buried 1 October 1640.
