Sir Arthur Forbes, 4th Baronet Life story
Sir Arthur Forbes, 4th Baronet, of Craigievar, Aberdeen, was a Scottish Whig politician who sat in the House of Commons from 1732 to 1747. Forbes was the sixth, but eldest surviving son of Sir William Forbes, 3rd Baronet of Craigievar, and his wife Margaret Rose, daughter of Hugh Rose of Kilravock, Nairn.
