Sing Boy Sing

Southern boy Virgil Walker (Tommy Sands) heads to New York City to show the northerners what rock 'n' roll is all about. But, despite receiving a warm reception from his adoring fans, Virgil feels lonely in the big city -- even going so far as to hire deliveryman C. K. Judd (Nick Adams) to be his friend. Meanwhile, Virgil's domineering manager, Joseph Sharkey (Edmond O'Brien), stirs up publicity about his lucrative star, despite the negative impact that fame is having on Virgil.
