About Sidney Psalms
The Sidney Psalms or Sidneian Psalms was a 16th-century translation into English of the Psalms. It was the work of Philip and Mary Sidney, aristocratic siblings who were very influential Elizabethan poets. Mary Sidney completed the book and gave a copy to Queen Elizabeth I of England in 1599.
