Sidney Dancoff Life story
Sidney Michael Dancoff was an American theoretical physicist best known for the Tamm–Dancoff approximation method and for nearly developing a renormalization method for solving quantum electrodynamics. Dancoff was raised in the Squirrel Hill neighborhood of Pittsburgh.
