Shlomo Vitkin Life story
Shlomo Vitkin was born in Tel Aviv. In 1940-1941, he studied painting and sculpture in Jerusalem. In 1942, he joined the British army and served in the Western Desert and Italy. In 1946, he attended the Bezalel School in Jerusalem but his studies were interrupted by the Israeli War of Independence.
