Sherri Smith Buffington, formerly Sherri Smith Cheek, is a businesswoman and lobbyist from Shreveport, Louisiana, who is a Republican former member of the Louisiana State Senate for District 38. Buffington is the first female Republican ever to have been elected to the Louisiana Senate.
