Rachelle Ranae "Shelley" Shannon is an American best known in U. S. media reports as an anti-abortion extremist. Shannon was convicted in a Kansas state court for the attempted murder of Doctor George Tiller by shooting him in his car in Wichita, Kansas in 1993.
