Shanaka Jayanath (Jay). Peiris is the International Monetary Fund's Resident Representative to the Philippines. Prior to this he was a Senior Economist in the Asia and Pacific Department, and Monetary and Capital Markets Department of the IMF covering ASEAN countries and South Asia.
