About Sestriere
Sestriere is a resort in Italy's western Alps, near the French border. It's part of the Vialattea ski area, with dozens of slopes hosting major competitions. The challenging Kandahar Banchetta Giovanni Nasi is an Olympic-level piste running from Mount Motta to Mount Banchetta. Nearby, the forested Val Troncea Natural Park is home to Alpine flora, including edelweiss, plus golden eagles and the goat-like chamois.
