Sébastien Lecornu Life story
Sébastien Lecornu is a French politician who serves as Minister of the Armed Forces in the government of Prime Minister Élisabeth Borne since 20 May 2022. Australia has announced a €555m ($585m; £475m) settlement with France 's Naval Group as compensation for scuppering a submarine contract with Paris.

Speaking in Singapore on Saturday, Defence Minister Richard Marles said Australia wanted " respectful" relations with all countries in The region, adding: " This includes China. "
