Boris Johnson says he is in "good spirits" after spending The Night in the hospital with coronavirus.

The clock to St Thomas' Hospital in London on Sunday Evening with "persistent Symptoms " - including a temperature and cough - for the routine tests.

It Comes as The Number of coronavirus-hospital deaths in the UK reached 5,373 - an increase of 439 in one day.

The Department of Health and Social Care reported 51,608 confirmed cases.

The Prime Minister , 55, tested positive for the coronavirus before 10 days.

He remains responsible for the government, although foreign Minister Dominic Raab meeting under the chairmanship of Monday coronavirus.

Mr Johnson said he was "keeping In Touch with my team When we fight together, The Virus and keep all safe".

He also thanked the "brilliant NHS staff" to take care of him, and the other patients, and added: "you are The Best of the UK".

the Prime Minister 's official spokesman said he remained in the hospital "under observation", and described Russian reports that Mr Johnson had been put on a ventilator as a "disinformation".

He will continue to receive updates and briefings in the hospital, the spokesman added.

in The Last month, the Prime Minister , the spokesman said, When Mr. Johnson was sick and unable to work,

Earlier, housing Secretary Robert Jenrick said he hoped that the Prime Minister would be back in Downing Street "as soon as possible".

"He works extremely hard to the leading of the government and is constantly updated. This goes on," he told Bbc Breakfast .

"I'm sure this is very frustrating for him, for someone like Boris, who wants to run a Hand [to] the government from The Front , but, nevertheless, he is Still very much in the custody of the government," he added.

U.S. President Donald Trump is among those who has sent his wishes to Mr Johnson.

"All Americans are praying for him. He is said to be a good friend of mine, a great Lord and a great leader," Mr Trump added that he was sure that the Prime Minister would be in order, because he is "a strong person".

And Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer said he hoped that the Prime Minister had a "speedy recovery".

health Minister Nadine Dorries , the self-tested positive for coronavirus last month, said that to sleep many of those who like it would with The Virus "" due to fatigue and a high temperature and insulation, and to recover.

"Boris has risked his health and worked Every Day at our job, The Battle against this malignant virus"

Meanwhile, the former head of public service Mr Kerslake said there can be "sensible" for Mr Johnson to "step back", if he is not good enough, his role, for now.

"I think in The End , if he does well, he will think about it, because The Job is hard at The Best of times, and it is doubly hard, now," he told The Bbc Radio 4 Today programme.

Although Downing Street insists the PM is Still responsible, if the doctors insist that he needs to rest and recover, then he can also step back for a period of time.

In the UK, we no longer have a Vice-the Prime Minister - The Last was Nick Clegg , David Cameron .

Technically, Dominic Raab is to be expected as the first Secretary of State - would be the step.

His position as foreign Minister , however, does not put him in the center of The Fight against the coronavirus.

It seems likely, therefore, that the two figures, one would expect, to take a Central role would be the Cabinet Office Minister Michael Gove and health Secretary to Matt Hancock .

Both men were often representatives of the government in The Daily press conferences.

fortunately, however, many of the most important decisions - should be continue as long as the block and what should be the Exit Strategy - Still some way seem.

At The Moment , the focus is on "flattening The Curve ", as well as to the reduction of infections and admissions to hospital.

The day-to-likely-to-day decisions, therefore, will depend much more on the advice of The Scientists and officials.

The really big decisions are in some way - if it is to be hoped that the Prime Minister will have recovered.

Dr Sarah Jarvis , a GP and broadcaster, told The Bbc that Mr Johnson would probably be x-rayed his chest, and his lungs scanned, especially if he is gasping for air.

She Said , he is probably an electrocardiogram to check his heart function, as well as tests on his oxygen levels, white blood count, and liver and kidney function before he was discharged from the hospital.

Mr Johnson has worked from home, since it was known that he tested positive for coronavirus on September 27.

He was last applaud seen in public, the NHS and other key worker from his apartment in Downing Street on Thursday evening, and the chair of a coronavirus session remotely on Friday morning.

Later in the day, the Prime Minister , posted a Twitter video in which He Said he was Still slight Symptoms indicating.

"I Still have a temperature. In accordance with the government advice, I need isolation to continue my self-until the symptom itself," He Said .

"we work, But clearly all of the time on our program, The Virus . "

On Saturday, his pregnant partner, Carrie Symonds tweeted that she had spent a week in bed with the main Symptoms .

She Said she had not been tested for The Virus .

health Secretary to Matt Hancock had also tested positive for The Virus , and returned from self-isolation on Thursday the host of The Daily Downing Street news conference.

The government's chief medical adviser, Prof Chris Whitty , self-isolated after showing Symptoms , but has recovered now and is back at work.

Tony Lloyd , the Labour MP for Rochdale, has also been in a hospital for coronavirus treatment.

Sir Keir wished him a "full and speedy recovery" on Twitter on Monday afternoon.

The News of Mr Johnson's admission to hospital came shortly after, said the British "success" in their fight against the Corona Virus pandemic.

In a rare speech, the monarch thanked people for following government rules to stay At Home and praised the "come together to help others".
