| Santiago Cimadevilla was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He played guitar from a young age and studied classical piano at the Conservatorio Municipal Manuel de Falla. In the Netherlands he studied bandoneon at the Rotterdam Conservatory with Victor Villena and Leo Vervelde.
