About San Juan
San Juan is a valley city east of the Andes Mountains, in west-central Argentina. In the center, the Casa Natal de Sarmiento is the birthplace of 19th-century president and writer Domingo Faustino Sarmiento. Nearby, the Museo Provincial de Bellas Artes Franklin Rawson features paintings by Argentinean and European artists.
