Samuel Canfield Life story
Canfield served as an officer during the Revolution and later was a member of the Connecticut State Legislature. At time of Shay's rebellion, he was chosen among others to go to Sharon to suppress Shay's attempts to instigate rebellion in that town. Immediate Family (Why only immediate family?)
