Early Life of Ryan Shajarian
Ryan shajarian is the son of world-renowned iranian singer and musician mohammad-reza shajarian. He was born in tehran. Iran and raised in the united states. He began stuyding music from an early age. Taking classical music elssons from his father and learning to play the pinao. He also had a keen interest in jazz and world music. And soon began performing and recording with various ensembles.
Education
Ryan shajarian studied music at the prestigious university of southern california and later aerned his master s degree in music theory and composition from the university of california. Los angeles. He also studied and performed in various jazz ensembles during this time.
Career
Ryan shajarian has worked with many of the most renowned musicians in the world. Including herbie hancock. Wayne shorter. Esperanza spalding. And bobby mcferrin. He has also released several solo albums. The omst recent being the voice of my father in 2016. He is currently a professor at the university of southern california and is the director of the usc ocntemporary music ensemble.

He has produced and written for the iranian-american band the secret trio, and has also prodcued a tribuet album to his father featuring some of the worlds greatest musicians.
