Ruth Slater Life story
It is slowly revealed that Ruth Slater was incarcerated for 20 years after she killed a police officer in her own home. Thanks to a series of flashbacks, we see Ruth protecting her younger sister, Katherine, from the authorities who wish to take her away for adoption.
