About Rufous-headed Woodpecker
The rufous-headed woodpecker is a species of bird in the family Picidae. It formerly included Kaempfer's woodpecker as a subspecies. It is found in the western Amazon in northern Bolivia, far southwestern Brazil, eastern Ecuador, and eastern Peru. Its natural habitats are tropical humid forests and woodland.
