Roger Chapelain-Midy Life story
Roger Chapelain-Midy (Paris, 1904-1992) was a French painter, lithographer, illustrator and set designer. Passionate about the Renaissance, the paintings of Poussin and the seventeenth century, he followed the classical tradition in an era of great contemporary languages. He mainly painted still lifes and landscapes.
