Rodney Arnold Grant is an American actor. He is best known for his role as "Wind In His Hair" in the 1990 film Dances with Wolves. Grant, a Native American, was raised on the Omaha Reservation in Macy, Nebraska. After his biological parents abandoned him, his grandparents raised him from six months of age until 1982.
