Taika Waititi, new Star Wars movie
Oscar award-winning film-maker Taika Waititi will direct and co-write a new Star Wars movie in the cinemas.
Waititi, won an Academy Award earlier this year for the World War Two film Jojo Rabbit , and is also known for the production of Marvel's Thor: Ragnarok.
He writes unnamed film with Scotland Krysty Wilson-Cairns, who was nominated for an Oscar for 1917.
meanwhile, U.S.-writer Leslye Headland is the creation of a new series for Disney+ The Fourth small-screen spin-off.
The Mandalorians already streaming and Waititi came in the Star Wars universe, as he directed the series finale.
