About Rhodopsin Kinase
Rhodopsin kinase is a serine/threonine-specific protein kinase involved in phototransduction. This enzyme catalyses the following chemical reaction: ATP + rhodopsin ADP + phospho-rhodopsin Mutations in rhodopsin kinase are associated with a form of night blindness called Oguchi disease.
