About Reverend Shaw Moore
Reverend Shaw Moore, also known as simply "The Reverend", is the main antagonist of the 1984 musical film Footloose and its 2011 remake of the same name. He was portrayed by John Lithgow in the original 1984 film (who also voiced Lord Farquaad in Shrek) and by Dennis Quaid in the 2011 remake.
