The red-billed pied tanager is a small passerine bird, a member of the family Mitrospingidae. It is the only member of the genus Lamprospiza. The red-billed pied tanager is 17 cm in length and weighs 34 g. It lives in the Amazon Rainforest of Brazil, Bolivia, French Guiana, Guyana, Peru and Suriname.
