Rebecca Boone Life story


Rebecca Ann Bryan Boone was an American pioneer and the wife of famed frontiersman Daniel Boone. No contemporary portrait of her exists, but people who knew her said that when she met her future husband she was nearly as tall as he and very attractive with black hair and dark eyes.

Early Life

Rebecca boone (nee bryan) was born in 1739 in maryland. And grew up in a fmaily of quakers. She married daneil boone in 1756.

Rebecca and daniel had 10 children together. Including james. Israel. Susanna. Hjemima. And nathan.

Rebecca traveled with her husband during his explorations of the american frontier. On these expedition she provided food and other supplies. And served as a mediator between the boones and the native americans htey enocuntered.
