Grammy award-winning singer Duffy has revealed she was drugged and raped after being held captive by an attacker.
The 35-year-old Welsh star posted on account that your "recovery took the time".
The actor, who also had a UK number-one single Mercy in 2008, wrote her of the 33,000-trailer: "The Truth is, and please Trust Me , I'm ok and safe now. "
"I was raped and drugged and held prisoner for a few days," she wrote.
Duffy , whose debut album, rock ferry, went seven times platinum, as he went on Number One in six countries and won three Brit Awards and a Grammy after its breakthrough.
"you can only imagine the amount of time, I thought about writing this," she wrote on Instagram.

"The Truth is, and please Trust Me , I'm OK, and now for sure I was raped and drugged and held prisoner for a few days. Of course, I survived. The recovery time taken. There is no easy way to say it. But I can tell you, in The Last ten years, the thousands and thousands of days that I committed to feel The Sun Shine shining in my heart back to The Sun .
"do You not wonder, why I choose is My Voice and speak my pain? I didn't want to show to The World the sadness in my eyes. I asked myself, how can I sing from The Heart , if it is broken?
