Raynard Waits was an alias created by Robert Foxworth in May of 1992 following the murder of Daniel Fitzpatrick and the main antagonist of season 1 in Bosch. The first name was derived on Foxworth's surname at birth, refering to the medieval character of Reynard, an anthropomorphic red fox and trickster figure.
