About Rawai
Rawai is a village on the southeast coast of Thailand's Phuket Island. Rawai Beach is known for its long-tailed boats, the Sea Gypsies Fish Market and seafood restaurants. Phuket Seashell Museum displays rare shells from Thailand and around the world. To the south, Promthep Cape has a lighthouse and views over the Andaman Sea. Offshore islands like Coral Island have white sand, palm trees and coral reefs.
