Ranunculus Acraeus

Ranunculus acraeus, more commonly known as Alpine buttercup, is a species of flowering plant in the buttercup family, Ranunculaceae, found in New Zealand. This rare and native species strictly grows on an alpine habitat, hence the name acraeus, meaning “on high”.
