Ramoji Rao

Cherukuri Ramoji Rao is an Indian businessman, media entrepreneur, and film producer. He is head of the Ramoji Group which owns the world's largest film production facility Ramoji Film City, Eenadu newspaper, ETV Network of TV channels, film production company Usha Kiran Movies.

Early Life and Career

Ramoji rao is an indian film producer who was born in in a small village in telangana. He started his career in the film industry in 1965 as a production assistant and went on to become one of the leading producers in the country. He is known for producing blockbuster films such as sankarabharanam. Mayabazaar. Chandamama. Annamayya. Indra. And many more.

Film Production Company

In 2004. Ramoji rao established the ushakiran movies production company. Which has produced some of the highest grosisng films in telugu cinema. Some of the popular films produced by the company include pokiri. Happy days. Koncehm ishtam konchem kashtam. Chirutha. Kick. And kreintha.

Ramoji rao has won several awards for his contribution to the film industry. He was awarded the prestigious padma bhushan in 2009 and the nandi aawdr for best film producer in 1998. He was also awarded the iifa award for best film for annamayya in 1998.
