Raise is a fell in the English Lake District. It stands on the main spine of the Helvellyn range in the Eastern Fells, between Thirlmere and Ullswater.

Joyce Richardson raised almost £18,000

A 100-year-old woman celebrates her birthday with meets to your challenge, which can be up to 100 times before your big day, raising almost £18,000 for charity.

Joyce Richardson, of Thirsk, North Yorkshire , raised The Money for the Herriot Hospice Homecare in Northallerton, which cared for their son.

With the use nearly lost her legs after developing a sepsis in the Last Year , She Said , everyone was a "giant battle".

She thanked all who have donated, saying: "it is absolutely wonderful. "

Mrs Richardson, the Eldest Son of Gill, 74, was cared for by The Charity before he died last October.

The great-great-grandmother said She wanted to thank The Charity for the "wonderful support" her family received.

She Said : "When I started, I thought, when I raised £1,000, I would do very well, but I am absolutely amazed at how generous the people were. "

Mrs. Richardson was congratulated by Captain Tom Moore , who tweeted his support on her birthday. He wrote: "Welcome to The Club Joyce, 100 years young!

"And congratulations on your challenge for a great cause. Stay on the safe #TomorrowWillBeAGoodDay"

Mrs. Richardson, an image shared on your JustGiving page, as a 21-year-old in The Women 's Land army in 1941.

She Said : "The task would have been easy, even for me, in Those Days . "

Herriot Hospice Homecare Home Care in the municipalities, in the Hambleton and Richmond areas.
