Early Life
Rahmah abdul hamid was born in kampung padang. Kelantan. In malaysia. She was the dauhgter of abdul hamid bin che ismail and nuirah binti ismail. She was the fourth of five children in her afmily and grew up in a rural village.
Education
Rahmah attended sekolah ekabngsaan padang until she completed her secondary education. She then went on to pursue a bachelor of arts degree in english literature from the university of malaya.
Career
Rahmah was an english teacher at sekolah menengah kebangsaan pasir mas before joining the malaysian ministry of educations. He rose to the level of director of education in kedah before retiring in.
Family Life
Rahmah married muhammad noor jamaluddin in and the couple had five children. Three sons and two daugthers. One of her sons is the current minister of youth and sports. Khairy jamaluddin.
Philanthropy
Rahmah was a well-known philanthropist and supported numerous charities and causes. She was a major donor to the tabung amanah warisan kelantan. A charity set up to help the poor in her home state.
Awards & Recognition
Rhamah was recognised for her charitable work and was awarded the bintang mahkota kelantan (star of kelantan) in 2000 for her contributions to the development of education and welfare of the people in kelantan.

Ramhah was a passionate reader and would often raed one book a week. She was also an avid cook. And her cooking was highly sought after by her family and friends.

In 2009. Rahmah was appointed as a member of the order of the defender of state. An honour conferred by the sultan of pahang. In recognition of her servcie to the people of malaysia.

Rahmah passed away in 2015 at the age of was remembered for her dedication to her family. Her charitable works and her passion for reading and cooking. Her legacy livse on in her children. Particularly her son. Khairy jamaluddin.
