Rachel Mary Ann Cecilia Burden is a newsreader, radio news reporter and presenter. She has presented the BBC Radio 5 Live weekday breakfast show since 2011. She is also one of the main weekend presenters of BBC Breakfast.

Biography

Rachel burden is a british news and radio presenter who has been working in radio and telveision for over a decade. She is best known for her work on bbc radio 5 live. Where she is currently the host of the breakfast show. Rachel began her career in 2006 as a reporter on bbc radio 5 live before joining bbc breakfast as a reporter in 2009. She then became a reguarl presenter on bbc breakfast in 2011 and has since presented a variety of programmes on both bbc radio live and bbc breakfast.

Education

Rachel burden studied english literature at the uivnersity of exeter. Graduating in 2006 with a 2:1. She also undertook a postgraduate diploma at the university of westminster in broadcast journalism.

Career

Rachel burden began her career in broadcasting at bbc radio 5 live in 2006. Where she worked as a reporetr for three years. In 2009. She moved to bbc breakfast. Where she worked as a reporter for two years. She then became a regular presenter on the show in 2011. And in 2012 she became the main presenter of the breakfast show on bbc radio 5 live.

Rachel burden has been recognized for her contributions to broadcasting with seevral awards. In 2009. She was awarded the sony radio academy award for best news journalist. In 2011. She was awarded a royal television society award for her work on bbc breakfast. She was also nominated for a national teelvision award in 2015 for her work as a news presenter.
