About Qingming Festival


The Qingming or Ching Ming festival, also known as Tomb-Sweeping Day in English, is a traditional Chinese festival observed by the Han Chinese of China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand. It falls on the first day of the fifth solar term of the traditional Chinese lunisolar calendar.

Coronavirus: China will stop for three minutes to remember the dead

A Day of remembrance was in honor of instead of in China who have died from the coronavirus.

Qingming Festival , also known as tomb Sweeping day, is usually a time when people visit The Graves of friends and family.

But under the fears of other Covid-19-outbreak, the government advised people to stay and keep social distance as Stephen McDonell reports.
